Pcounter Desktop

Pcounter Desktop is an affordable printer accounting package, intended for sites that do not have print servers, and are printing direct to printers via TCP/IP or to locally attached printers.

It allows easy, quick and effective deployment of low profile print tracking software to workstations from a central installation point.

Pcounter Desktop includes many of the same features found in the Pcounter server product.

• Popup prompts for client billing and authentication
• Support for print account balances and free quotas
• Quick report generator with many formatting, customization and output options
• Central administration of printer configuration profiles across workstations
• It is not necessary to "touch" any workstations in order to configure local print tracking.

Note: the Pcounter for Windows server product also includes WSManager, a similar component that integrates desktop/local print tracking along with the standard server-based print management.
